In 2012, after more than 10 years as a Black Mountain Software client, Ravalli County decided it was time to ensure our software was still the best fit technologically. Times had changed. Was Black Mountain still the best choice? In particular, the county wanted a solution that could easily integrate its road department data, and the County Clerk & Recorder needed a higher level of automation to help manage an increased document recording volume. So, Ravalli County issued an RFP.

Black Mountain Software Solution
After narrowing the field to two finalists, BMS scored 94.5 out of 100 possible points and won the bid on seven out of the eight applications being evaluated. Today, Ravalli County rates our financial and tax software a solid 10, and because they’re taking full advantage of our unlimited training and service, they have a better understanding of what the software can help them achieve.
